Must-Visit Thailand Scuba Diving Sites

The act of diving underwater with the help of a diving apparatus is known as scuba-diving.  The word scuba is the short form of self-contained underwater breathing apparatus. The breathing apparatus has a can which contains compressed air.  The can is strapped at the back of the diver.  The diver inhales air via a regulator.  Scuba diving can either be done professionally or for recreational purposes.  In military and rescue operations, scuba diving is done professionally. This article is exclusively on scuba diving for recreational purposes.  In Thailand, there are many scuba diving sites.  The following are the best scuba diving sites in Thailand.

in Thailand, Surin Islands is a must-visit scuba diving site. Scuba diving Phuket in this site is highly recommendable since the site has clear water which gives a good view of fish. The Surin Islands are unspoiled because they receive a low number of tourists because of the remote location. The vast coral reef has been able to maintain its good look as a result of conservation.  The best scuba diving months are February to Aprils since you can spot a shark.

Another famous Thailand scuba diving Phuket site is King Cruiser Wreck. Phuket is the region which has King Cruiser Wreck. The name originated from the wreck of the King Cruiser car and passenger ferry which sunk on 4th May 1997.  The site has a good looking anemone reef which the King Cruiser ferry struck.  The King Cruiser ferry was never retrieved therefore scuba diving in this site will enable you to view the wreck.

Shark Point is another famous Thailand scuba diving site.  The spot is just near Phuket.  The name "Shark" in Shark Point should not prevent you from going for scuba diving in this site. Shark Point has friendly sharks such that you can get close to them. You will never forget how you swam with the leopard sharks in Shark Point. The Shark Point is large therefore you need to spend some days there.

Anemone Reef is another must-visit site in Phuket.  The site is dangerous to the ship since it caused the King Cruiser Wreck in 1997 although it attracts a lot of tourists.  The Anemone reef is a submerged rock which protrudes from the seabed.  The moving anemone makes the site to look alive.  Anemone Reef scuba diving site has a variety of fish such as tuna.

Finally, Koh Dok Mai is also a famous scuba diving site.  Koh Dok Mai is not large therefore it offers a short and sweet experience.
